Free translation of the Tamil words
No need anymore to be afraid
When Beloved Jesus is with us
No need anymore to be afraid

Mountains and hills quake before Him
Even the winds and the waves obey Him

Terrible demons and devils tremble before Him
Jesus will not let go of God’s children

For us a mansion has been prepared
Jesus Himself will take us there

We will never cross the boundaries He has set for us
If God is our Father, can we lack anything?

Devotional thoughts/historical background
Some of the scriptures that it brings to mind are:

Rom 8: 31-32 ” . . . If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?

Rom 8:15 For you did not receive a spirit that makes you a slave again to fear, but you received the Spirit of sonship. And by him we cry, “Abba, Father.

Luke 8:24-25 The disciples went and woke him, saying, “Master, Master, we’re going to drown!” He got up and rebuked the wind and the raging waters; the storm subsided, and all was calm. “Where is your faith?” he asked his disciples. In fear and amazement they asked one another, “Who is this? He commands even the winds and the water, and they obey him.”

Nah 1:5 The mountains quake before him and the hills melt away. The earth trembles at his presence, the world and all who live in it.

Jam 2:19 19 You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that—and shudder.

Matt 8: 28-29 When he arrived at the other side in the region of the Gadarenes, two demon-possessed men coming from the tombs met him. They were so violent that no one could pass that way. 29“What do you want with us, Son of God?” they shouted. “Have you come here to torture us before the appointed time?”

Isa 49:15 Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne? Though she may forget, I will not forget you!

John 14:1-3 Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me. In my Father’s house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.

Ps 34:10 The lions may grow weak and hungry, but those who seek the LORD lack no good thing.
