1. ஆச்சர்யப்படத்தக்கதாய்
(ப்)ரகாசிக்கும் மா தெய்வமே!
என் சொல்வோம் உம் கிருபையை!
உம் மேன்மையே அதற்கிணை;
உம்மைப்போல் இரக்கமுள்ள
மன்னிக்கும் தெய்வம் யார் உண்டு?

2. உம்மையே அவமதித்து
செய்த எம் பாவம் யாவையும்
கிறிஸ்துவின் தூய (இ)ரத்தத்தால்
மன்னித்து ஏற்றுக்கொள்கிறீர்;
உம்மைப்போல் இரக்கமுள்ள
