1. கர்த்தாவின் தூய ஆவியே,
நீர் எங்கள் ஆத்துமத்திலே
இறங்கி வாசம் பண்ணும்.
பர வெளிச்சமாகிய
உம்மாலே நாங்கள் சீர்ப்பட
தெளிந்த நெஞ்சுங் கண்ணும்
தந்து, வந்து,
மெய் ஜெபத்தை நற்குணத்தைப் போதிவியும்.
மெய் மகிழ்ச்சியை அளியும்.

2. நீர் போதிவிக்கும் வார்த்தையே
எப்போதும் எங்கள் நெஞ்சிலே
தீயாய் எரிவதாக.
பிதா சுதன் இருவரால்
இறங்கும் உம்மையும் அத்தால்
த்ரியேக தெய்வமாக
நல்ல, வல்ல,
பக்தியோடும் பணிவோடும் போற்றிப்பாடும்

On Thy own dear word rely we.

2. Thou Fountain whence all wisdom flows,
Which God on pious hearts bestows,
