அனைத்து துதி ஸ்தோத்திரம் என்றென்றுமே2. ஆ!/ உன்னத ரட்சிப்பின் திட்டமிது;
கிறிஸ்தேசுவில் ஆனந்தங் கொண்டாடுவோம்;

Hymn in English
1. To God be the glory, great things He has done;
So loved He the world that He gave us His Son,
Who yielded His life an atonement for sin,
And opened the life gate that all may go in.Chorus
Praise the Lord, praise the Lord,
Let the earth hear His voice!
Praise the Lord, praise the Lord,
Let the people rejoice!
O come to the Father, through Jesus the Son,
And give Him the glory, great things He has done.2. O perfect redemption, the purchase of blood,
To every believer the promise of God;
The vilest offender who truly believes,
That moment from Jesus a pardon receives.3. Great things He has taught us, great things He has done,
And great our rejoicing through Jesus the Son;
But purer, and higher, and greater will be
Our wonder, our transport, when Jesus we see.
Devotional thoughts/historical background
to the only wise God be glory forevermore through Jesus Christ! Amen. (Romans 16:27)
For from him and through him and to him are all things. To him be glory forever. Amen. (Romans 11:36)This well-loved hymn was composed in America in the mid 1800s by Fanny Crosby, the most prolific hymn writer of all time. Ira D. Sankey, who went to Great Britain with D. L. Moody, took it with him and included it in his compilation “Sacred Songs and Solos.” But this hymn was largely forgotten till it was included in a song book compiled for Billy Graham’s London crusade of 1954. In the closing weeks of that crusade, it became the theme hymn. Since then, it has become a favourite in many churches around the world.
